Citara

Terms of use

Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the Citara service, a structured environment for writing long-form documents. Using the service, including under a pilot, constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Access

Access is granted through named accounts created under a subscription or pilot programme. The publisher uses reasonable efforts to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access; interruptions for maintenance or technical reasons may occur.

Intellectual property

Users retain all rights in the content they upload or produce in the service. Users grant the publisher a limited licence, strictly necessary to provide the service (processing, storage, export). The « Citara » trademark and service elements remain the property of the publisher.

User obligations

Users undertake to use the service lawfully, to upload only content they are entitled to use, and to keep their workspace credentials confidential.

Liability

The service is provided « as is », particularly during the pilot phase. The publisher is not liable for decisions made on the basis of produced documents; users remain responsible for reviewing and finalising their deliverables. The publisher's liability is limited as set out in the applicable agreement.

Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the publisher's registered office, in [To complete: city / canton], subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
